I threw this outfit together with some items that's been sitting in my closet for awhile. I'm not sure if it happens to other people, but I have a tendency to get really excited about something and save them for a special occasion and then I never wear it. It just sits there at the back of my closet wondering where the hell I am and why it's so neglected. This navy blazer is a good example of that, I bought it maybe 2 years ago and it really hasn't gotten the amount of wear that it deserves. I have the biggest fear of outfit repetition but really I just need to learn to reinvent them into different outfits. Hmm...single minded or just lazy?
But by then I have new loves and ...it's not a happy ending.

ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you mean. I have lots of lots of things in my closet that I always think are too pretty to wear and then totally forget about them. My new motto: Wear it as soon as you buy it :)
